My Experience
The owner of DaleyPawz, Courtney, studied outdoor adventure at Plymouth State University in New Hampshire and while there she had the unique experience of taking care of a dog sled team.
Over the past few years that Courtney has been back in CT, she has gained dozens of dog clients. DaleyPawz is made up of a caring team that provides all kinds of services including: letting your pup out while you‘re at work, taking them on hikes at the reservoir or having fun puppy playdates. Courtney is also a certified positive reinforcement dog trainer.
About Me
When I was in college I rescued my first dog Boca who is the heart of Daleypawz. We found eachother during an interesting time in my life and she had a lot of behavioral issues that we worked hard on together.
When I moved home from college I had many jobs, one of which was being a nanny for a very special girl who also had a deep love for animals. During the 5 years together, she became my little side kick. No matter what I was doing for work, I always had a couple dog clients and she loved to come on the walks with me.
Over the years my clients kept growing and in September of 2019 I started Daleypawz. I never thought it would be what it is today but I knew I wanted to be outside with dogs everyday. Daleypawz is a combination of my deep love for the outdoors mixed with my deep love for dogs. In 2019 I started mentoring with Debbie Sheridan from Debbie 4 dogs while taking a course and becoming a certified positive reinforcement trainer. I now work everyday to help dogs live the lives they deserve, be the voice for them and help the owners better understand them . In 2021 I added my first walker to Daleypawz and we have quickly grown into a tribe of 15 ladies. It has been a absolute dream come true. The team has become a community. We gather, we host events and I would truly do anything for anyone on the Daleypawz team. The walkers who have joined the Daleypawz team are some of the sweetest ,most amazing people in the world.
We are so grateful for our community and for everyone who has helped Daleypawz get to this point. We can’t wait to continue to see where Daleypawz goes.
